What a shake up in the provisional classification, at the end of this 17th stage of the Global Champions League in Ramatuelle - Saint-Tropez! While the Madrid in Motion team (Eric van der Vleuten on Wunschkind 19, and Maikel van der Vleuten on Beauville Z), double clear round in this second round (six points in the final after two rounds), has just won the St Tropez leg of the Global Champions League, the provisional classification of the circuit evolves. The St. Tropez Pirates (Olivier Robert on Tempo de Paban, and Pieter Devos on Claire Z), fifth today (twelve points after two rounds) now occupy pole position. The London Knights (Ben Maher on Concona, and Olivier Philippaerts on H&M Legend of Love, fourteenth in Ramatuelle, forty-eight points after two rounds), downgraded to third place in the provisional standings. The Shanghai Swans (Peder Fredricson on Zacramento, and Daniel Deusser on Scuderia 1918 Tobago Z, second with the second clear round of the class, nine points after two rounds), are in second place in the provisional ranking of the Global Champions League. The class, which was also run by pairs outside the Global Champions League, goes to American Kent Farrington on Creedance, the fastest of the seventeen clear-rounds. On the French side, only Penelope Leprévost and Vancouver de Lanlore sign the perfect round and finish in eleventh place.
