PREMIUMARES
PREMIUMARES, SILVER SPONSOR
Premiumares was founded by Milena Pappas in 2015 who developed the concept from the outset. As modern showjumping becomes all the more competitive and demanding, the quest for the per-fect horse is never ending! And it all starts with breeding! Premiumares seeks mares with the best bloodlines and results to pair them with the sport’s top stallions to produce future sport horse champions.
“Premiumares is all about quality,” says Milena Pappas. “Our goal is to breed excellent sport horses. In this regard, we consider the Longines Athina Onassis Horse Show as the equivalent in terms of show jumping. The Longines Athina Onassis Horse Show is an incredible event, which combines everything: a fantastic location, a unique ambiance, the best riders in the world, great organisation and a demanding competition!”.
Premiumares has already produced a number of standout show jumpers, including Cortney Cox (Carlo x Espri) and About a Dream (Clinton x Indoctro) ridden by Switzerland’s Pius Schwizer up to CSI5* level, and Constance (Indoctro x Animo), ridden by Great Britain’s Jessica Mendoza up to CSI5* level. Both of these horses have earned top placings at the biggest shows around the globe, with About a Dream being named as one of Switzerland’s best horses in 2018. But the young horses coming up have all the genes they need for success! 8-year-old Jardessa (full sister to Hardessa, owned by Ashford Farms and competing at GP level) who is progressing with Pius, Unyke, a 10-year-old already competing at GP level, 8-year-old Toulanda degli Assi who is directly from the damline of Glock’s London and Golden Hawk, and 7-year-old Vamelusina vd Eijkhof. So we have a great deal to look forward to in terms of sport and even more in terms of breeding!
